The five-day tournament will bring together more than 1000 athletes from more than 100 state representative teams at the Melbourne Sports Centre in Parkville.

KommunityTV will live stream two fields simultaneously across the first four days of the tournament, before expanding our coverage to four fields on finals day.

The coverage will include a mix of open age elite athletes, as well as the best young players rising through the ranks in the Under-12, Under-13, Under-14, Under-15, Under-17 and Youth age groups.

News Sport Network managing director Michael Wilkins said the fast-paced, frenetic action from the Futsal National Championships would be a perfect way to kick off the New Year.

“The national championships is the biggest event on the futsal calendar,” Wilkins said.

“Not only will KommunityTV subscribers have a chance to see the best elite athletes hone their craft on the biggest stage, but also a number of rising talents who are the future of the sport.
“Futsal is fast-paced and fun, with an emphasis on ball skills and moments of magic. It is tailor-made for a broadcast audience."
